Das Ripstop-Gewebe zeichnet sich durch eine verstärkte Struktur aus, da es aufgrund seines maschenfärmigen Musters aus feinen und dickeren, ineinander verschlungenen Garnen reißfest ist. Bei einem Riss im Stoff reduziert sich dieser auf den Umfang des Quadrats. Da es sich um ein leichtes Material handelt, wird es häufig bei Outdoor-Aktivitäten verwendet, die ein solides technisches Know-how erfordern.
Das Wildleder wird aus der Unterseite von Rindsleder hergestellt, das zuvor gebürstet wurde, um es weicher und flexibler zu machen. Er stammt aus Betrieben im Süden Brasiliens (Rio Grande do Sul). Es wird in Brasilien unter Einhaltung der REACH-Normen gegerbt. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit wird dem Wasserverbrauch während des Gerbprozesses gewidmet. Das Veloursleder ist außerdem mit wasserabweisenden olen ohne PFCs (chemische Verbindungen) beschichtet, um die Sneaker vor leichtem Regen zu schützen.
