Durch die Vereinfachung des Gerbprozesses wird der Einsatz von Chemikalien und Energie begrenzt sowie der Verbrauch von Wasser um ca. 40 % und von Salz um 80 % reduziert. Nach der Besonnung ist das Wasser wiederverwertbar. ChromeFree-Leder wird in der gesamten Kids-Lederkollektion verwendet. Hergestellt in Brasilien.

Es wird in Brasilien gemä den REACH-Standards gegerbt. während des Gerbprozesses wird sparsam mit Wasser umgegangen. Dieses Wildleder wird dann mit zwei wasserabweisenden olen beschichtet, um die Sneaker vor leichtem Regen zu schützen. Die Gerbereien, die mit VEJA zusammenarbeiten, sind von der Leather Working Group zertifiziert. Hergestellt in Brasilien.
