Il suede deriva dalla parte inferiore della pelle bovina precedentemente spazzolata per renderla più morbida e flessibile. Proviene dagli allevamenti nel Sud del Brasile (Rio Grande do Sul). La pelle è conciata in Brasile, nel rispetto del regolamento REACH. Un'attenzione speciale è riservata all'utilizzo di acqua nel processo di concia. Il camoscio è inoltre spalmato con oli idrorepellenti senza PFC (composto perfluorurato) per proteggere le sneaker dalla pioggerellina.
